I am on this never ending quest to find the perfect organization plan. OCD about it. Am I actually organized? No. I drive myself crazy with this stuff!
Earlier today I was reading an article about a mom who uses *xcel to schedule her child's every movement in order to make sure they get into some overpriced Ivy League college. It's a little over kill, but since Lala asked me again if she had to "wear boy socks again!"... I was thinking maybe a little spreadsheet might be in order.
Then I remembered the elaborate schedules I put together in college... color-coded, with images/cartoons. They were works of art. And never last more than 24 hours. Something always came up, threw me off schedule and out it went.
Last week, I was considering hiring a professional organizer!
This afternoon, I read an interview with the found of ListPlanIt. Sounds like a great idea! I rushed to the site to look it over. My savior! But do I really want to spend $20 on something that I won't continue to do once the paper is cold?
My heavens when will I stop? I'm sick, I tell you. Sick! None of these things will make me organized! ARRHHRHRH!
Okay, now that I have that out of my system, I can breathe again.
Seriously. How do you become organized? Is it just something you do? Are you born with it? Ease into it? Kick yourself into?

1 Talk To Me!:
I'm a very organized person by nature, but when you have two little kids you've just got to let go a little bit! There are too many unknowns with kids - unexpected things - to stick to the plan. It's hard not to let it make you crazy, but it will get easier as they get older!
