It’s coming!

  We now have a confirmed finalization date! Hopefully, all will go according to plan and there will be no massive snow  storms over the next week or so… I’m hoping my cousin can make to the proceeding and take photos that actually look good. Got a new phone this week, with a very nice camera on it and still with the bad pictures; I may have to give up.

Today, we drove into to town to do a little early trick-or-treating and visit the “not-so-haunted house”. A local photographer was offering photos of kids, instead of candy. I’m eager to see how the photos turned out – as I’ve mentioned before, it is not easy to get a good photo of the kids. The Cuddler has started making these scrunched up faces whenever told to “smile” and Lala won’t smile at strangers. Also, the cuddler does not listen to directions very well (I’m already worrying about the teenage years). Again, I’m awaiting the photos to make a final judgement. If they turn out good, I may actually hire the photographer to do a family photo.

Tomorrow will be our first trick-or-treat expedition. Or it may be. So far, we’ve had back to back rain storms. We may just suck it up and hand out candy. There will be those who would wade through a foot of flood waters to get free candy.
